What is Sheerwave IPL 360?
A non-invasive treatment that uses high intensity pulses of visible light to improve the appearance of various skin conditions and hair reduction.

How does it work?
The light emitted by the Sheerwave IPL 360 is attracted and absorbed by chromophores ( special cells). By triggering different chromophores, the IPL is able to treat many skin conditions as well as permanent hair reduction.

How does it feel?
Treatments with the Sheerwave IPL 360 are painless. A mild heat and bright flash of light is experienced in full comfort and relaxation. Other lasers and IPL do not compare.

How many treatments are needed?
For skin conditions, it may range between 3 to 8 treatments depending on the severity of the symptoms. For hair reduction, it may range between 6 to 10 sessions. Keep in mind that if the condition or hair is caused by imbalance (hormonal, stress, diet) it may require further treatments.
For optimal and lasting results it is very important to follow the recommended treatment schedule.

What are the side effects?
It is normal to have a slight redness in the treated area immediately following the procedure. It will disappear approximately 2 hours after the treatment.

Who should avoid IPL treatments?
IPL is effective on individuals of all hair colors but those with very dark skin (Fitzpatrick types VI) should not receive IPL treatments. Although IPL can be performed on all skin colors, those who have been in the sun or tanning bed should wait at least 2 weeks before being treated.

Who is it suitable for and what to expect?

WRINKLES
The Sheerwave IPL 360 can reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by stimulating new collagen growth & causing existing collagen to diminish, allowing the skin to look firmer and smoother.

ROSACEA
Rosacea causes flushing of the face and enlarged visible capillaries (small vessels) especially on the cheeks, nose and midface. By administering IPL frequencies, heat is generated and vessel walls are altered, the blood inside the vessels coagulates causing the vessel to collapse and seal. IPL treatments are very effective at closing up the enlarged blood vessels and eliminate flush and blush giving the skin a more even tone.

ACNE
